At present, the main pump of the excavator mainly uses the plunger pump, and its pumping mechanism is exactly the same as that of the syringe.
It is mainly a number of plunger (usually odd numbers, more than 9, and other numbers), loaded into the cylinder (also called the pump gallbladder) along the axis evenly distributed in the same channel with the number of plungers. Then the slipper on the plunger is pressed on the swashplate with an inclination angle with the cylinder body plane.
When the cylinder and plunger rotate, when the plunger rotates to the farthest distance from the cylinder to the cylinder, the plunger and the cylinder block will draw a space between the cylinder and the cylinder body, and the space between the plunger and the cylinder block is the smallest when it is transferred to the cylinder and the cylinder.
The same plunger is pulling reciprocating piston between the corresponding holes.
As long as the flow plate is used, the oil suction port is configured to the corresponding position at the distance between the cylinder and the cylinder, and the oil outlet is configured to the corresponding position in the nearest place of the cylinder body. The main pump can achieve the continuous suction oil when the main pump is rotated.
The big arm and the small arm are not alone with a large arm hydraulic pump or a small arm hydraulic pump, and they are provided by the same or two parallel or series pumps, such as shovel, walking, and slewing (some small excavators may be used for gear pump oil supply).
The oil supply mechanism is that the oil is discharged from the main pump to the control valve (multiple valve, distribution valve, etc., whatever is only a different name), and then through the control of the control valve spool (may be the pilot oil control, mechanical rod control, electromagnetic control, etc.), so that the pressure oil enters the different cavities of the large arm or the small arm cylinder.
